We LOVE this animation set to a one-of-a-kind interview with John Lennon on, you guessed it, war and peace.  Timeless.

“In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan snuck into John Lennon’s hotel room in Toronto and convinced him to do an interview. 38 years later, Levitan, director Josh Raskin and illustrator James Braithwaite collaborated to create an animated short film using the original interview recording as the soundtrack. A spellbinding vessel for Lennon’s boundless wit and timeless message, I Met the Walrus was nominated for the 2008 Academy Award for Animated Short.”

NOW HEAR THIS! is the kick-off endeavor of The Dilemmas Project inviting citizens of consumer culture to be heard, literally. To showcase the challenges facing our times, The Dilemmas Project asks you to air your feelings by recording a personal story of an experience or situation that poses a predicament to how you live. Whether it’s a big catch-22 that challenges your conscience, or simply a small consumer ‘pickle’ – all is fair game. The result, an audio collection of stories covering the dilemmas people are facing in day-to-day life. We share these stories in hopes of spreading awareness, igniting conversation and inspiring creative, positive solutions.
